Moxi Laser

When to have it done: All year round!

What to prepare prior to treatment: No actives or retinol/tret 1 week prior. No sun exposure 2 weeks prior. No Accutane for 6 months.

What to expect: We apply topical numbing to the treatment area for about 30 mins to help with any irritation you may feel. On a scale of 1-10 our patients say it’s no more than a 3. It feels like little fireworks sparklers on the face however its very tolerable. I am with you throughout the who process and will follow up with you every day to see how you and your skin is doing and if you have any questions or concerns.

What does it do: Helps reduce pigmentation, amazing for melasma, fine lines & wrinkles, texture, and tone.

Who is the best candidate: This is perfect for anyone who wants to dip their toes into a facial laser without having a full ablative treatment. Moxi works on the epidermis of the skin.

All ages Post treatment: Depending on the level the treatment is preformed downtime can be from 3-7 days. You will have redness like a sunburn, MENDS (dark little dots will appear and feel like sandpaper) and as you gently wash your face with a gentle face wash, they will fall off. When you come in for your consultation, we will recommend you to purchase our post laser treatment kit which includes Alastin’s Ultra Calm Gentle Cleanser that is safe for pre and post laser treatments, Alastin’s Skin Nectar to help heal quicker and also help restore loss of collagen, and lastly Alastin’s Hydratint SPF.
